Default Farm Team Evaluation *rep*

Just drafted my first farm team ever, and I'm curious to see how people think I did. The main draft and prospect draft for this league were combined, and I generally didn't reach for my prospects. As a result I don't have the really high end guys, but I think the players I did get are pretty solid.

Forward:

Schwartz
Toffoli
Armia
Spooner
Boychuk
Leblanc

Defence:

Barrie
Sproul
Robak

Goalie:

Hackett
Bishop (also serves as a handcuff for Anderson who is my #2 goalie)
Visentin

Also curious what kind of immediate impact people think Leblanc and to a lesser extent Robak (if he makes the team) will have. I thought those two guys (and maybe a few others, Schwartz and possibly Barrie) would have some immediate impact so I have them taking up spots on my bench. There are 10 farm spots.

Settings for this league are:

G = 1 A =1 PIM = .2 +/- = .2 SOG = .1

Win = 2 SO = 1 GA = -.2 Saves = .05

You got some immediate help in Schwartz, LeBlanc and Bishop. Barrie could get an offensive role in Colorado sooner than later, I like him. Schwartz will produce in a few years. LeBlanc I see as a bit of a high floor, low ceiling guy, consistent 40-50 points (assuming he can stay healthy). Toffoli will be a good one once he gets a regular place in the King's lineup. Ditto Spooner in Boston. Armia has good upside, but isn't a sure thing. Hackett has star potential.

Without knowing when you picked these guys, or how many teams in your league, it seems that you did quite well.

I only like 4 out of the 12 (Schwartz, Armia, Barrie, Hackett), but that's good enough for a farm team. Don't care for some guys like Spooner or Toffoli.

I don't mind this group of prospects, but I don't love it either.

I think you're pretty set with Armia, Schwartz and Hackett. However, I don't like any of the other guys enough to say I'd make sure to hold on to them.

You'll have no problem dealing Toffoli and Spooner, I'd suggest packaging them for a prospect like Silfverberg or a guy you're more sure about that will be an NHL'er.
