Hall is a "play driver" more than the other two. Top pairing? really? gotta say, you are way too high on this kid way too soon. He is nowhere near as good as you profess. What do you know that the rest of us don't? He's great, yea, and will be an incredible two-way dman for years to come, but top pairing for team USA? Not a chance. He still has a lot of learning to do at the NHL level. To say he's ready to be a go-to dman on one of the best National teams is pretty silly. Keith Yandle is significantly better than him on both sides of the puck... in fact, I'm pretty sure about 18 months ago, you beefed up Yandle like he was the next best thing. Example, while Eberle's play without Hall and Hall-Nuge is analysed, why not his play just without Nugent-Hopkins? And the same can be said for the other three comparisons. Plus, when taking into account each players play without the other 2, why aren't the linemates they are with taken into account? Semin was not the root of Washington's problems, clearly demonstrated by Washington's early struggles and Carolina's/Semin's early success. Glad I picked up Semin as a late draft pick this year.
