Detroit is stubborn, they dont take huge risks unless they see it panning out down the road (wait...just don't think of Franzen's contract) Mrazek (sp?) is in the system but it takes awhile to develop right? Could Luongo help develop a young kid in the minors? Tampa made their splash this year with Lindback. I think this would be an exectutive slap in the face to bring in a vetran waiting to steal a spot when you falter. I didn't know if there was historical fantasy data that says to be prepared for less than expected numbers from star players that day and not start the season off for your roster with marginal performances.
