I wonder if you can do a partial buyout and keep Ilya around for a million a season, that way you can get bobby lou and retain the rights to Ilya. - aleco83

I have been using that exact same argument for the past year. If you could tell the leafs they would make the second round the next two years, they would jump on it. - austeane

It doesn't matter if Luongo can't win the big game (he has proven he can, but anyway), so many teams would just like the chance to get there. Luongo instantly makes Toronto a playoff team. Same goes for Edmonton. And he upgrades Philly a bit, too. That move is harder to understand. - angus

Buck0198. I hardly think luongo can be blamed for not being a winner. While posting 2 shutouts he took his team to game 7 of the cup finals while his team scored only 8 goals in the entire round! - nsunblad

I know nobody cares but Luongo isnt the answer for a team trying to win a cup. He isnt a winner...you can talk all about regular season stats and the Olympic gold medal(which he wouldnt have won had his team around him not been way better than the USA). I wouldnt give up much of anything for him unless I was a team that was desperate and the Flyers are not desperate. - buck0198

The other lines for the blues will likely be: Oshie Backes D'Agostini and Stewart Berglund Perron. Wasn't sure if Schwartz would stick this year. - kevin_mcallister

mx - nicely done. But if we are getting that exact, I think 0.48 would be the most accurate estimation. - angus

I love Jagr. I think he plays 1 or 2 more years after this one. The speed is not what it was but he's arguably stronger and the skills are obviously there still. - CallMeJerry

I think there's a typo in the section on DiPietro...shouldn't it read, "That will keep you where you want to be through the 4.8 games."

Just saying... - mxpxillini35
