The major RED FLAG the he does not mention in his propaganda piece for the players is when Gary Lawless mentions this: "Winnipeg isn't an artificial market. They pay NHL prices for NHL hockey. But they had unexpectedly robust revenue last year, they paid bottom third of the league in salary and they made money. [b]But had they spent to the cap, they would have lost money.[/b]" Really? The Winnipeg Jets were in the top half (maybe top third) of revenue earners last year but THEY WOULD HAVE LOST MONEY IF THEY SPENT TO THE CAP????
