germant,
Why are you saying I have faulty information? Your link provideb is from November 2011!! Those numbers are not Winnipeg Jet numbers from last year but ATLANTA THRASHER NUMBERS from the year before... - BrianSTC

Out of those top 7 AHL scorers, I have Nyquist, Conacher and Schultz stashed on my farm. I really couldn't be happier about that right now :) - Dakkster

I don't think he's pro-player any more than you or I. He's just anti-Bettman and anti-all people involved in the lockout, and wanted to have a little fun with mockery. - Dobber

BrianSTC - according to Forbes - the Jets were the 28th highest earning franchise (straight revenue only) so your argument is based on faulty information. - http://www.forbes.com/nhl-valuations/list/ - germant

Dobber, there truly is a disconnect between fans in larger markets and fans in smaller markets and Wyshynski's article just proves it. The major RED FLAG the he does not mention in his propaganda piece for the players is when Gary Lawless mentions this: "Winnipeg isn't an artificial market. They pay NHL prices for NHL hockey. But they had unexpectedly robust revenue last year, they paid bottom third of the league in salary and they made money. But had they spent to the cap, they would have lost money." Really? The Winnipeg Jets were in the top half (maybe top third) of revenue earners last year but THEY WOULD HAVE LOST MONEY IF THEY SPENT TO THE CAP???? That is insane and shows there really is a problem. - BrianSTC
