Normally, I would check on the AHL once in a while. Now I find myself checking the boxscores and wishing they captured more stats.... - Rad64

The strategy employed by me and each of my league members is to focus on our football pool. - mabus

Honestly I am not putting much time into it. There will be disturbances this year but beyond that I think it's business as usual. Sure there will be cases of players being out of shape and others being worn out but that is just a temporary thing. If anything I will just put more time into scouting since I am not putting any time into checking NHL boxscores. - ericdaoust

i think the real question is how much input does howson have into JD's decision making process and will he even be part of the team moving forward....

Quote from nhl.com:
Davidson, 59, will report to majority owner John P. McConnell and will have control of the team's hockey operations, including general manager Scott Howson, according to the Columbus Dispatch. The paper said team president Mike Priest will remain with the team but will focus on the business side of the organization.

and from the SB article linked above:
While general manager Scott Howson -- along with Chris MacFarland and Craig Patrick -- will stick around at least for the time being, Davidson becomes the franchise's front man. He'll have full control of the operation, with the authority to make whatever decisions he sees fit.
