I this I can explain this without doing a full article, because a lot of what this league does is based on the NHL...

24 team roto dynasty
23 man roster + 27 farm
Salary cap: same as NHL (64.3 million last year, 70.2 million currently pending lockout resolution)
Player cost: same as NHL CAP HIT

A couple of notes:
-A lot of overpriced players are not owned
-Since we are using NHL cap figures, the league remains sustainable automatically since NHL teams follow the same salary cap rules
-We bypass the problem of determining our own player cost by following the NHL
-If you have less than 24 teams, it becomes more difficult to stay within the NHL cap so you may have to create your own cap ceiling - ericdaoust

Hey -

A few guys in my league have been interested in a capped league setup for a while, but have had issues with finding examples. Any chance you could post a write-up with your league rules, or how you manage the capped leagues?

Thanks! - kbs17
