So far the SEL are not allowing any lockout contracts, but the leagues below do. The only question mark is if they can afford the insurance policies. We'll see. He has been for the last few weeks (he notched a couple goals in yesterday's pre-season game). I believe he's ineligible to play in the AHL until he's 20, which will be in March.
