Heatley has been slowed down by injuries and has become more and more of a perimeter player. Going from two 50-goal seasons to three ca. 40-goal seasons to a couple of ca. 25 goal-seasons is not a trend that is likely to dramatically reverse itself because of Zach Parise or Ryan Suter. - Isle B.

discussion point:

i have heard that colorado was going to give the captaincy to o'rielly this season, but when they couldn't agree on a contract they went ahead with landeskog, who they knew would get the job n time anyways... - InnocentBystander

Really like the choices of Cammalleri, Duchene, Heatley. I'm on board with all three of those guys bouncing back considerably.

In EDM, I would think Ryan Whitney might have been a good pick as the forgotten guy. He was PP on a team that had a couple really young emerging superstars once before. If he cn stay healthy, could be a huge value pick this year.

Not really great choices in VAN, but I don't see how Kesler's (C) absense really benefits Raymond unless Raymond can crack the PP1. But there weren't really any choices in VAN, so I get you.

Pretty good, overall. - Pengwin7

Heatley never had Hossa and Kovalchuk to take pressure off him in Altanta. He was traded for Hossa on August 3rd 2005. #factcheck - robmyatt
