Germant
yes I am insane actually. Usually it takes someone a little longer to come to that conclusion. Most of my friends and family thought so when I went all in when silver was at $17...
Hamonic is a heck of a hockey player too and I am sure you wish he were on your teams squad, insanity not withstanding. Perhaps were he on Toronto they wouldn't have been given the worst franchise award ? no ?
Finally, I suggest we clone the two and create Girglien who can both eat donuts and be twice the player. - donpaulo

Yes, but Byfuglien isn't a bad defenseman. He and Girardi are completely different players.

of course, that's my point. One is fantasy worthy, the other is real hockey worthy. - Gaborlick

It depends what you are after.... Byfuglien plays a lot of minutes and puts up a ton of points. - angus

Dan Girardi shuts down players defensively. Dustin B scores sometimes and eats donuts.

Dan G is...IS twice the defenseman Dustin B is. - Gaborlick

LOL LOL LOL Not sure why you would feel you even need to defend that comment.
It is funny how poeple value players so different. I see very little value in Girardi.
In a 14 team keeper where I own Eric Karlsson, Drew Doughty, Dustin Byfuglien and Dougie Hamilton.
I would not trade buffy for any player outside Dobbers top 11 even if you threw Girardi in for free. - pucknguys

donpaulo - are you insane? The Islanders don't have the best blueline! Not even close. Are you hanging your hat on Hamonic? He's a good up and comer but nowhere near elite. Streit? Puh-leese. Hell, even Visnovsky doesn't want anything to do with the Islander defense. Get a grip on reality donpaulo.

Crazy fan is all I can say. - germant

ignorance and inability to read ? Having a tough day are ya ?

wow, I thought I was a hard ass

also for the record when the message is misunderstood the author should take a long close look at how they framed it. Granted it isn't illegal to be stupid or to jump to conclusions but blaming others when ones job is to communicate in print shows rather poor form.

Then again what the heck do I know, I am a lowly rangers fan who thinks they have the best blueline in the NHL - donpaulo

But please, demonstrate your ignorance and inability to read an opening sentence by immediately posting your comments below based on your interpretation of a player’s real life value – while completely missing the clearly-stated fact that these are fantasy rankings. Go ahead. We’re all waiting with bated breath.

Yup, and they are your customers, Chris - ain't life a bitch? I honestly believe that less than 10% of poolies process the fantasy game on a fantasy basis to the 90th percentile. For many who play the game and are active fans of the game, there is an emotional content that they don't want to or can't dispatch from their considerations.

Kudos to Doan, when you know and live up to your values, life gets simple, gray areas tend to disappear. - Shoeless
