Germant, I'm not sure what unauthorized programs you are referring to, but my computer keeps getting something installed on it from an otherwise benign site that I visit on a regular basis. I have to use Combofix to uninstall the program. I'm not suggesting it is the prospect site, but I have yet to figure out which of the sites I regularly visit is causing the problem for me. If anyone else is noticing this with the prospect site, I'd like more info. - SeaDawg

Kassian wasn't the key to the deal - Zajac and Marchand were.

With Zajac (and Little at RW), I should dominate the FW category each week.

With Marchand, I upgrade my winger position by adding one of the best multi-cat LW in the game.

Kassian won't be offensively productive for a few years, but he should have solid PIM and HIT numbers. - angus

Angus, I know you're a big Canuck fan, but I can't share your enthusiasm for Kassian. Don't think you did too well in that trade for that reason.

BTW, PIM is one of the worst categories in fantasy hockey. - bullwinkle

Germant - not aware of that. Perhaps try and email Dobber to see what the issue may be? - angus

PIM are fine, especially in deep league, like a 28 team keeper. - hawkdog

Can't access the site. Google saying the site has had incidents (13 of them I believe) of installing unauthorized programs on computers without user knowledge.

Anybody else getting this? - germant

Thank as always for your rambling Jeff I like your thought about the STL line and really like your trade you made, Zajac shoud rebound he is a buy low candidate and Marchand is a stud in a stat league OEL was expandable whit your depth at defense;) - bluteau

I haven't been in a league with PIMS in years. Got roped into a new keeper this year that counts them because somebody bailed during the draft and my buddy asked me to step in. I've already considered the only bright spot of a lockout is I could bail quieter from a league that hasn't even begun if there's no season.

I'm saying boo (not boo-urns) to PIMS. - sanstanya

i, too, will give a big thumbs up on the new format. the quality is always top-notch.

FWIW: my thoughts on blues line-up...

from an article in late september:
http://www.stltoday.com/sports/hockey/professional/blues-bits-hitchcock-reflects-on-playoff-loss-looks-ahead/article_cb96c22e-baff-11e1-9f66-0019bb30f31a.html

• Hitchcock didn't want to get into potential line combinations in June, but he gave some indications. It seems likely that if Stewart can perform at a higher level than last year, he could begin the season with Patrik Berglund and David Perron. David Backes and T.J. Oshie are expected to stay together with a left winger yet to be determined. That could be a spot for Matt D'Agostini. It's likely that you'll see Andy McDonald and Alex Steen stick together, as they were at the end of last season. With Vladimir Tarasenko playing right wing, he could be a fit on the McDonald and Steen line, meaning there's a chance McDonald or Steen could play center. Steen is the likely bet.

that would give a potential starting top nine of:

D'Agostini/Schwartz-Backes-Oshie
Perron-Berglund-Stewart
McDonald-Steen-Tarasenko

if Schwartz makes the blues, he will be in the top 9 and D'Agostini will be the odd man out.
and i agree with your sentiment that tarasenko and schwartz will definitely not be on the same line.
there is no need to put that pressure on them when the blues can protect them and still roll three balanced two-way lines.
in a few years time, they will likely be linemates as their styles suite each other perfectly
and they would have the potential to be a very productive duo...

PIMs make no sense...

Nice read Angus.

For the record, I cannot even FATHOM my league including PIMs, it's always completely flummoxed me why anyone would want that category. For the same kind of impact (i.e., increasing the pool of valuable players, by bringing players into the mix who would have no value in a points-focused league) I strongly favor Blocked Shots, which hugely increases the pool of valuable Dmen and even makes certain forwards far more valuable. Anyway, just my two cents. - ross10019
