You have him penciled in for 54 points in the depth chart, which is fine by me. It's just that in your notes, you say "don’t be surprised if he tops 65", but you don't have him listed as a sleeper. If you're going to give him upwards of 10 points upside, you ought to qualify him as a sleeper, if only to give people an idea what the odds are of him making that leap.

Other than that, I want to thank you for adding the advanced stats. Massive helper for me. I drafted Ryan O'Reilly purely because I think he has trade value, and this cemented my decision to move him before the slump hits.

Best of luck with the rest of the guide! I speak for a great many poolies when I say we're looking forward to it. - number54

...and I think the introduction to the 3 tier challenge is from last year's guide. The intro should probably be deleted until it is updated.

I'm glad the guide is out and loved my first pass through it. Well done again Dobber and team.

One small note - I wish you were not so high on the rookies. Your track record is to over estimate the production the top rookies by 10 or more points and this makes it tough to get these guys at reasonable values (since everyone in my leagues buy the guide). You need to take the advice from Ryan's "Making Projections" article point 7 in last year's guide - Beware of the lofty rookie expectations. I guess the hype helps sell the guides, so I understand why it is done.

How long until the spreadsheet is released. I'm trying to decide if I just type out the numbers or wait. - mabus

No doubt for the money, getting the prospect guide + fantasy guide combo pack, which includes free downloads of all the updates, is the best value out there, fantasy hockey wise. I will say, not sure how I feel about the "advanced stats"..."interesting" at best. - The Hockey Hitman
