I know he has no value... but a fresh start would probably be best for all involved. If they do bring in a Doan/name a forward from Florida, then they don't have a spot for him. Assuming they get anotehr 3rd line centre (doesn't seem like they see Lapierre as the guy), they've got a 4th line with some combo of Malhotra, Lapierre, Kassian, Weise, Pinizotto, Volpatti, Raymond.
