Beautifully written article. The talk going around the hockey part of Buffalo is that both will be given at least a handful of games to prove themselves at the NHL level to start the season, if not the full 10 games. More than likely Girgensons will stick, with Grigo having a disadvantage to the C race. But it is still highly probable that they both slide in behind Hodgson and Ennis. Possible line combos could look like:

Vanek-Grigo-Pommer
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford
Ott-Girgs-Gerbe
Leino-Hodgson-Kaleta/Tropp

I personally believe that Kaleta will re-sign with the sabres, but will only be used at a limited role. Until players who don't fit into the system, such as lieno are moved (unless there's a breakout or he is used to his playstyle, I see him in Buffalo until next season at best). Other players challenging for C time are McCormick and Adam, which both are bigger players, with McCormick being more physical than Adam. If either Girgs or Grigo don't stick in Buffalo, look for Adam to earn his shot with the big club. - WWG68
