Flames lines

Sorry missed this in my first comments maybe because there was a rambling about the flames that didn't include bashing them:D

Those are pretty much the lines that most fans have at the moment but it doesn't give any of the up and comers much incentive. The Flames do seem to have too many wingers but who do you move out? Not Cammaleri, Tanguay, Iginla, Glencross(good cap hit for his production), not Hudler, Sempniak, Comeau (all signed this off season) or Jones (signed this off season and probably wanted to play up the middle where he had so much success last year until injury).
Maybe Jackman but he was a resign and the only heavy hitter on the team (and that's not saying much), probably Stajan but we are weak up the middle as it is.

Still plenty of time until opening day but lots of questions still to be answered. - UKflames

Seems like there is lots of wiggle room on the NHL's demands, give and take could get this done on time it just depends how hard ball each side wants to be. - UKflames

On Green: standard operating procedure. McPhee says that negotiations with Green and Carlson are going well.

On the CBA: something very important that haven't been brought up here is that the owners want to redefine what constitutes hockey related revenue, which would lower the players' share even further. - sentium

Pulkkinen

to clarify (correcting that writer) Pulkkinen could have played in the AHL right after he was drafted. It's just the player's decision whether or not to play Europe or AHL until age 22. He will be back in Finland next year for sure though as he is definitely not ready for the NHL (maybe will never be fully ready). - Big Ev
