-Carter does play in a D first system, like you mentioned. 

-Keeping my fingers crossed for a 240 shot campaign from Staal. Carter played 39 games in Columbus and had 130 shots, on pace for about 270 or so. Same in LA where he had 54 shots in 16 games.

-Staal already had a higher compete level, but now he's playing on the same team with his big brother, he's probably eager to get going in Carolina. Carter might be hungover until 2015.

Gotta go with Staal on this one.
