My ex-wife claimed residency in Florida (even though she had multiple choices as a diplo-brat). Now I know why.

It's no secret that Canada's taxes are higher. It's what makes this a better place to live.

Mind you, not so much for those of us who don't plan to live here forever...

Kudos to Justin Schultz for recognizing that a few years of stellar stats will translate to a unjustifiably massive contract somewhere south of the border in a few years time. It's time to watch the Oilers out-youngun the Islanders. - Steffen

When teams were prepping for the Canucks, it looks like their dmen practiced how fast they could skate backwards. Incredible wheels, that offside pass from Babych (at the blueline) just looks so wrong now, the neutral zone was far too small to disallow those passes, throw in all the hooking they let go (alot of midsection crap) you wouldnt even attempt now and you wonder how many he wouldve scored if they didnt handicap the talent so much. - Rollie1967

What a smooth skater.

PS. the clip at around 2:15 and the end of the sequence is replayed around 2;20... that's the difference between the NHL then and the NHL of the past few years. That Detroit player could have laid him out as he was making that pass. Respect.

I recall a similar situation when Crosby came into the league. I believe it was the playoffs, and Draper could have nailed Crosby on a suicide pass he was receiving. Respect.

PPS. Not a Detroit fan. Respect them though. - Ross The Boss Palmer

In the Bure clips everyone else looks like they are standing still. Bure is still the most exciting player I ever got to see play live. - Blasters
