So how can he be 10th on the Top D list if he isn't even on the first pair for the Blues? Sounds like he should move down dramatically on the D list. If Pietrangelo is the stud and Sattenkirk doesn't fit well, his ranking that high seems strange. - jrs40

I'm uncomfortable as hell with that...

Reimer is at best a Backup that is trying to be shoved and showcased as a promising young goalie, he's not... Enjoy him as a backup and work on finding a stud...

Scrivens isn't ready and I don't think he ever will be. He plays a consistant game every night, rarely steals a game, but is very low end... To me he has AHL Vet written all over him... Always the #3 and will likely see alot of organizations over his career... he also seems to have a learning disabillity that cost The Marlies a game vs Norfolk...

Seen Sparks in a JR game this year, he didnt impress me... in fact he looked bad, not be cause of the amount of goals he let in, just all the holes in his game... He has great size tho...

Rynnas and Owuya are currently the best in the organization, Rynnas is likely moving on as he need more games and the Leafs/Marlies are kind of clogged... He would be fine for anouther AHL season if Owuya wasnt ready to move forward to the AHL himself. Rynnas has the most talent in the organization. Owyua is very raw, but exciting. He really could be something in a couple years if he makes his game more efficient, great athletiszem tho!

Toronto may also be pondering having an NCAA goalie Chris Noonan in the system... look for him in camp... posted good numbers for Niagra College, but I didn't see him in any games myself.

Leafs should be strongly persueing a Luongo, maybe try and grab Nik Backstrom, Antti Niemi/ Tom Greiss, John Bernier or Matt Garon... Someone to play infront/with James Reimer... - Jason_Banks

They are both RS defensemen, and offensively inclined. Don't see a partnership there. - angus

What about Shattenkirk??

All this talk about Stl needing Suter . . . no mention of Shattenkirk. He is list 10th in D's right behind Pietrangelo on the top D's list.

I am confused . . . - jrs40

Sentium - one day I will get it right!

I'd say Barberio has a great shot at making the team. - angus

JakOb Silfverberg...

Yes, I will keep moaning about his name being misspelled :)

On cut 7, how sure a thing do you think it is that Barberio gets a spot on the big team next season? As you say, they need a puck mover and he fits the bill. - sentium

If Morrow were to be moved I have a feeling he could become Recchi 2.0. Whoever is lucky enough to get a guy with his leadership, grit, and experience would be very thanful. - Ross The Boss Palmer
