Michalek, and another forward prospect(Silfverberg/Stone) and a goalie prospect (Bishop/Lehner)- would that be enough to nab Nash?
The numbers for Nash/Michalek arent that different, but one had a career year and Nash is seen as an underachiever due in part to so much losing and poor linemates.
Columbus could really use a goalie, and if Luongo isnt in the mix (i doubt Lou has them on his list of acceptable teams) then 1 of the Ottawa keepers might be the answer down the line- Bishop probably 2 years before Lehner. - Rollie1967

On a side note, if Suter did end up in Chicago would there be a better top 3 in the league?
Keith, Suter, Seabrook...not too shabby.

Angus, I'm surprised you don't have Chicago on your list of possible destinations for Suter. His family is from Madison, WI and he resides there in the offseason. All grew up hawks fans and then you have the obvious connection with Gary Suter, a former hawks great.
If he wants to be closer to home and competitive, hawks are a logical option.
It has also been rumored that Hawks are looking to move Hjalmarsson to clear cap space. Which, could be used to target Suter. I dont know if theyre a favorite for him, but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Suter sign with the hawks. - Rangers0035

Based on the rumors about what Howson was asking for at the trade deadline, that rumored offer from Ottawa would be miles apart. I don't think anyone would value Bishop more than a potential backup. - Bender

Internet rumors are Ottawa offered Z, Foligno and Bishop for Nash. Seems reasonable, maybe need to sweeten it a bit with a pick. - Knuckles
