Always a solid read Angus

As for Brassard, the injury he suffered when he found back a few years ago really sidelined his development. He tore up the AHL and made a strong debut with the NHL club before breaking his hand and that really hurt him. He returned and found himself in the coaches doghouse but the Todd Richard's coaching change really showed promises as he notched 29 points in 40 something games. I think Brassard is quietly going to have a breakout year - Dean Youngblood

Since 2003-04? Lol the last time Sutter took a team to the finals. Blame Sutter! - frozenpools

ya gotta admit though angus, burkey locking up getzlaf and perry in anaheim at 5.3 million for 5 years was a pretty shrewd move that doesnt get much credit. With both of them heading into a contract year, ya gotta believe that the open markets price tag is a tad higher that what they're making. How Anaheim handles both of them and Bobby Ryan is definitely something ill be following closely as well - Raider_Pride

I think you mean number 1 defenseman and not number 1 center. At least, I hope so! Pavs should have at least a few more good years in him. - bitterwingsfan

11. Getzlaf Ryan and Perry all had below-expectations season. I would expect Ryan out with the emergence of Etem. Kid is awesome. 61 goals in 65 games plus 3 goals in 6 games in the Crunch. - gfunkb7
