I see Adam as a line 3 center.

I think Buffalo needs to improve toughness and consolidate some of their offensive assets into better offensive players. They are too deep offensively and their toughness takes a hit because of it. - letangerang58

Apologies Bullwinkle. I wrote this piece 2 weeks ago actually but just recently was able to proofread for grammatical errors, yet missed the Sulzer extension. If you must know, my life has been consumed with a job relocation from California to Ohio over the past 4 weeks (unfortunately for me, my weekly Dobber column is not my primary source of income). I haven't had computer access this entire last week and am writing this on my phone in between flights.

Rather than stop writing, I've been doing my best to keep content coming your way. Hopefully you can overlook a missed contract extension here or there. ;) - Tim Lucarelli

I was just wondering how this guy (who's specialization is the Eastern Conference) can have written this article on 5/28 and not know that Sulzer had been resigned a week ago!

A Ryan Ma he is not. - bullwinkle

Thanks pal. I am having that sense about Adam. I really don't have to do anything with him until the end of the summer but trying to wrap my head around what I might do - I want to drop 2 farm players before our draft and it boils down to Desjardin for sure and then one of Etem, Leblanc and Adam. - Shoeless

Adam isn't NHL ready and may never be. McNabb is far and away the better choice than Brennan. In fact McNabb is already a top 6 dman in their system. Trade candidates include Roy, Weber, Leopold, or Sekera although I'd like to see Vanek go. He'd get a good return and I think we've seen all that he's got to give us.

Sulzer is also a lock on D. At 750k, he's a steal. - bullwinkle

What of the early season flash, Adam? Be interested in your thoughts on him, Dub. Holding him on the farm in one league and not sure I am not wasting my time. - Shoeless

Miller is the face of the franchise, and the only way he would be moved is if Darcy Regier would get an absolute lopsided trade (like he always does), but I mean this one would be nasty. Derek Roy will more than likely not move because he is close with Lindy Ruff. If Ruff is dropped then maybe Roy moves, but you would see the Sabres deal out prospects before you see Roy dealt if the Regier-Ruff tandem sticks together. - WWG68
