the simple fact that he grabbed a players head and drove it into the glass is what makes me call for a suspension. that was not a hockey move whatsoever. a deliberate attempt to hurt a player. just disgusting.

how about them flyers? so many overlooked their never-give-up attitude the past month or two. - bill

as a rule, the guys who retaliates generally gets the punishment.
I think cracking a guys helmut is sufficient for at least one game suspension.

the idea that this is playoff hockey and they should be allowed to be goons is such BS cause the refs are not all on the same page,
each series is called different

"A brutal, vicious, violent head shot" ... sigh, gimme a break. Like Don Cherry said (as much as it pains me to quote him), if Weber REALLY wanted to hurt Zetts, he could have easily.

Get over the Canucks loss, take a breath, take the blinders off ... this is playoff hockey! - Darcy S

Weber hit

I have to agree with you Paul, Zetterberg's hit was arguably dirty with 3 seconds to go and Weber retaliated inappropriately. They should both be fined, and Weber maybe should have been suspended.
That being said, I don't know how you call the Weber move a "brutal, vicious, violent head shot"...that is a ridiculous over-exaggeration.

no excuse on Weber but Zet clearly hit him in the numbers from behind for which there is also no excuse. 2 dirty plays, yet it seems Weber gets 99% of the criticism. Just saying... - paul
