the hobbits got a big body to protect them. With patches in there as well they arent as easy to push around anymore.

flames got some needed skill and talent.

win win trade imo. - ynotzz

I know its beaten to death, but dobber what are you hearing about him coming back this year? will he stay for next year? Is he a better keeper than Iginla, Green or Yakupov? - Dave

Bender - Cammy's arrival coincided with Tanguay's return. Both of those events have made Olli Jokinen a much better player and that is a big reason for Calgary's surge. The trade was a good one, I just like to tease fans of different teams every so often, and watch them rush to their defense;) - Dobber

Dobber, are you watching much Flames lately? Before their disaster of a game last night, they had actually played their way into the playoffs. I gotta think that trading for Cammy and ridding the room of Bourque was positive. Maybe not for the way he's produced, but maybe even for the chemistry in the room. - Bender

9G, 3A, +1, 20PIM, 36SOG, 4PPG, 1PPA, 1GWG & 19HITS in his last 10 games.

He's having himself a very solid all-around season I must say. Magical 4th year? - iamlilc

Cammy sucks less than Bourque...

I suppose for all those Habs fans out there the deal may look like it sucks less for MTL because they have some cap relief (not that they know what the hell to do with it). How is that Gomez trade working out for you? Or maybe its the fact that they really won't miss Cammy's stellar playoff performances, because lets face it, they won't be in the playoffs...The truth is both players are underachieving, but Bourque's ceiling is much lower, therefore Cammy is underachieving, and Bourque is simply a pile of overhyped garbage in a big body package...Gauthier is a disaster, Gainey is clearly off his rocker, and the entire franchise is in disarray. They need to rebuild, and unlike most teams, the rebuild has to start off the ice, and in upper management...DISGRACEFUL!!! - Puckhead

Maybe the trade sucks ever so slightly less for Montreal but it still sucks. :D - lcbtd

How can the trade suck for both teams when the habs at least got a 2nd pick and pay their sucky BIGGER player less than cammalleri? No matter how bad they both are, montreal benefits from this deal. - Dave

I'll never forgive Vrbata for bolting the Czech early in 2008. The pool was an "everyone counts" classic hockey draft. He got me 6pts that year. - Mr Sausage
