Patience is key - Steve Mason is probably the only goalie of substance in the last few seasons who has gone against the grain. Anyway, great ramblings Mike - I grabbed Gonchar early in a couple of leagues this year and don't regret it. However, I am not sold on Staal - the price needs to be right I think - in most 12 team leagues, I would not treat him as anything more than a 3rd C on my depth chart - he is still worth more as a 2 way C in real life than he ever will be in a fantasy league, for my money. I say it has everything to do with the new coach. Hitchcock always brings the fire for the first year or so but dies off as time goes on. It's the system.
