Was it really just 2 short summers ago when Wolski was one of my 17 keepers in a 10-team roto pool? Oy vay. What a fool....me, then; and him, always. :P Nice job on the Ramblings, Mike Schmidt....good to have you on board here; you were my favorite Phillie growing up. ;) - AFlyers66

Chris: How is back check a clown when all he's doing is giving constructive criticism? He's trying to give suggestions for how Mike can improve the ramblings. Just because someone doesn't spout 100% lovy dovy brown-nosing comments, it doesn't mean that they hate it. Jeez... - sentium

Nice ramblings Mike, keep up the good work.

Don't mind clowns like "back check", he obviously doesn't speak for others on this site (looking at the comments below)

Its nice to have a fresh look at things.....different from the other ramblings. I think that is why you were asked to do it....not to just copy what Dobber and Angus do. - Chris

Hey Mike, welcome aboard Dobber Hockey - it is the best hockey fantasy site, period. As such, it has some pretty high standards to live up to, so please take the following in the spirit it is intended. The ramblings are one of the best features of the site (nothing beats the participation/insight from the memebrs). The reason the ramblings are so good is becausde they are usually more than a summary of the previous night's games and score sheets. Your opening observations about Gagner are what fantasy junkies are looking for - opinions, comentary, and insight. I know who started in goal for Nashville or San Jose, what can you tell me about the fantasy value of the guys who got the rare back-up start? I also know Hodgson is playing well, but has his increased productivity resulted in increased ice time or in spite of it? Can he keep up this scoring pace as a third line center for the rest of the year? These are just some examples of where the Ramblings could have gone today and did not.

Hope you take this as constructive criticism and not throwing stones, but Dobber fans want that extra layer of analysis and opinion, its what brings us back to this site over and over again.

cheers - back check - back check

Nice link on Subban.
He has sensational footwork - it's amazing how fast he can move sideways.
I grew up playing defense, I can tell you that getting to that level of laterally shifting takes a lot of practice. Sweet to watch. - Pengwin7
