RE: Pengwin7

Glad you enjoy them, I find them great to look back and reflect to see, wtf was I thinking, or toot my own horn when I do nail something...

With Cogs, if Selanne did retire, I think he'd be up into the 16's 17's which probably would have him on a 45-50 point pace, which was what I was after in the first place.

Frolik I don't think will have much hope just too many "big guns" there, with solid role players like Brunette and Stalberg...

Seto is one that I do have faith in a turn around. The Wild need him back desperately... They're 18-7-3 with him in the line up, but just 3-6-3 without him. With him suiting up, it just gives them another offensive dimension. He was also bounced around a lot on and off that top PP unit, if he can get some consistent time with the big unit with PMB, Heatley, Koivu and Zids, he could take off in the 2nd half, he's one of my buy lows.

To be fair I thought White wasn't going to have that much of an impact (posting Rafalski numbers) I thought they would give more rope to Kronwall, but White has taken the reigns and ran with it.

Now let's see if this continues into the 2nd half. - Ryan Ma

I really enjoy look backs.
These are OK - you forced yourself to dig down to 3rd/4th liners & 2nd/3rd D-pair guys... so finding gems was pretty tough.

My own notes:
re: Cogliano - IDK, as 3rd line center in ANA, was there really any opportunity for him dependent on Selanne retiring? Selanne's retirement would have opened up a PP1 spot for Bobby Ryan. I don't think there was ever much opportunity for him.

re: Frolik & Setoguchi are both guys on my own personal "Ten foot pole" list. I haven't owned either of them for more than a week in any league. (I'll be honest, I'm sure I've rostered one of them for a Sunday in a tight-SOG H2H cat!!!)

re: Ian White. You call this a HIT so I'm guessing there was an implied thought that wasn't written. so having White replace Rafalski may not result in too much of a drop off. Since 2006, White has posted an average of 27.4 points and 144.6 SOG per season. Expect [White to have] similar numbers [as Rafalski did]. I remember reading this back in the guide and thinking there was something off with assuming White would only continue his same stats (that's the way it reads).

Zidlicky & Prospal are the only other two guys on this list that I drafted/own.

Overall - this list deserves a thumbs up.
There was nice value in investing in Shattenkirk, Mike Smith & Michael Ryder... players that are great helps to their fantasy teams.
