Good read, as usual, but except for the sweep of the Flyers, I question whether Boston was all that decimating during the playoffs. Maybe it just feels that way to a still-devastated Canucks fan. :) - John H.

I agree Reimer has been shaky lately but I think it started after his concussion. He was very good prior to that. - BTM

Reimer

Reimer has been battleing since the first game of the year, and I'm glad someone else finally seen and commented on it...

His numbers are fine, and he is winning... but he looks very ugly doing it and at times he looks lost...

I've watched him all the way from the bottom to the show, and usually he's calm, composed and solid. This year I noticed in the start of season shutout Reimer looked bad and it has just continued. I will agree a couple nights before it started to look better and then the wheels feel off...

Scrivens by comaparison looked good in the net in his time, be he also was prone to big slot rebounds. He showed a bit of difficulty catching pucks in the NHL, but in the AHL he looks different while catching (dunno if its a case of Allaire being close by or what)...

Gustavsson has looked the best in the pipers for Toronto... he has calmed down and looks bigger in positioning than he did when he first entered the lg. Jonas has had some rough results and some ugly badluck goals. But when he is in, he looks in control of the crease, something Reimer hasn't shown...

Anyway, just wanted to backup Geoff's comment... Merry X-mas - Jason Banks

Just bought Streit and Pavelski for Nash and Kulikov.

Hoping the Islanders go on another second-half run like last year. - Mallow Hunt

Reimer's rebound control last night was pretty dreadful. In contrast to the last couple games against Buffalo and LA where he played very well. - Geoff Greer
