As this article was inspired by my forum question, I want to personally thank you Ryan for taking the time to write a very helpful piece. I can see that there are plenty of strategies to consider when drafting, and especially how much risk you want to take ('reaching' on a young guy with a low salary) and when to take that risk for a potential higher reward.

I will definitely come back to it when I decide to further explore these type of leagues. Who knows, perhaps sometime before the end of the season or early offseason after a bit of research, I might create a sample league and see if anyone wants to join me in a mock draft, as a test to myself. I assume Fantrax is the best provider for such leagues, since cap hits are listed with the players?

Thanks again. -HF - horrorfan
