Not terrible, but it's the -1's that stand out to me. The reeling 1-4 record puts the spotlight on Prof. Boucher to respond. Is the 1-3-1 all he has? Professor? What you got? ..... Two images from that game still stand out to me: 1. The Flyers bench players/staff openly mocking and jeering the laying-back TB players, and 2. St Louis skating over to the TB bench (as Pronger ragged the puck downwind) and clearly saying to his Coach, with hands up, "What do you want me to do?" What lingering effects has all this had in the TB room? Craig Smith was given a lot of ice time over the first 20 games of the year due to the massive amount of Nashville injuries. Games Missed by NAS Top 6F: Fisher (8G), Erat (8G), Legwand (4G), S.Kost (4G), P-Horn (1G). So, while we've all seen great things from Smith, a healthy NAS team limits his opportunities at even-strength. 2. I'm not a fan of Berglund. His decision-making is just far too slow (at the NHL level) for my liking. I don't own him in any leagues. I don't think he's at all close to breaking out. 3. Tampa Bay is 1-4 since Flyer Stall-Gate. They've been outscored 5-19 in the four losses and even in the win against PIT they were outshot 34-18. Are they still playing 1-3-1? Do they have even have a defensive system? Anbody? Bueller? (Apparently, per link below, WAS played against the 1-3-1 last year and played catch with the puck - but not so much of an issue then. Burke had a comment about it being a "problem" with the NHL being an "entertainment business".
