Ramo

another solid article Justin. I'm wondering where Karri Ramo fits in in the next few years in Montreal? He put up some impressive numbers in the KHL, but that's the KHL. How long until he's wearing a Habs uni? - alias

love your articles Justin.
A few off season moves caught me by surprise:
Vokoun signing with Washington for 1.5! I wouldve thought Florida wouldve offered something in the $5-6mil range, but I guess he really wants a cup. Has a decent chance of it,personally I prefer Vokoun over Bryzgalov- even at the same salary.Philly over paid.
Montreal lets Auld walk, then signs Budaj for more $ and more term-when his numbers werent as good-and there are still better options available.
Giguere actually got an offer above the minimum- I dont trust him to stay healthy. Another bad move by Colorado.
I would give Edmonton the nod for worst tandem to start a season again...except Phoenix replaced Bryzgalov with Mike Smith, who granted looked good in the playoffs, but was as bad a backup in the regular season as you could find.
Still some veterans available that could help teams: Turco, Nabokov,Conklin,Emery,Boucher and even some younger guys with potential whose careers have stalled in the AHL due to no spot being available on the big club: Greiss,Stalock,Zatkoff,Thiessen come to mind. - Larry
