Off topic, but can anyone post the link to an old article I cant seem to find. I think it is "The Golden Rules of Trading" or something like that. It was by you, Jeff. - flaupmes

Yes I was thinking about that myself. I was contemplating about keeping/protecting white for next year, and now I am less sure... Surely this will eat into his pp time. Would it be Burns and White on pp perhaps? - Ryan Lenethen

where is the "hurts: white"?? i was hoping to snag white as a sleeper for 30-45, +10-25, this year... now 20-30, +5 seems more likely. unless he gets traded to detroit or something. did i say that out loud? - Noam

Sounding like a Barker buyout is likely. - Ryan

On the contrary, this will help Pavelski. He was never much of a threat on the point in the PP and this will give him more of a chance in front of the net. It will hurt his PP time but it's a quantity vs quality question. He will have more quality chances but the quantity of time will drop.

On the flip side, there is now room for him to move back up to one of the top 2 lines. A lot will depend on who the Sharks bring in for the 3rd and 4th lines. They will probably bring back McGinn and they are bringing back Desjardins but they will still have 3 empty forward slots and $7MM to work with under the cap. - bball

Fair to assume that this hurts Pavelski? Burns now becoming the right handed shot on the point on PP? - Jeff McDonald
