Try not to resist ;) Attempts will be futile. Larry, I think SJ is very good at evaluating goalies, but they haven't had to develop any into a true NHL goalie (aside from Greiss) because Nabokov was clogging things up. Now that they brought in Niemi to take over, there will still be a need to develop their prospects as Niitty enters the final year of his contract. Stalock is on a perfect path to be SJ's next backup and could take over the starting role. They havent even given one much of a shot as a backup- Greiss got the best shot- but nothing for Stalock,Sateri,Sexsmith so far nor Dakers and Patzold (longershots) in the past.
