A motivated Spezza

I love the "A motivated Spezza" comment. I think this 'kid' is one of the best in the league when he's going. Of course, he seems to have inherited some of Heatley's wonderful attitude while he was in Ottawa.
I really hope Spezza starts clicking with some of the younger Ottawa forwards, as he's definitely an elite talent.

Good article, I'd like to read a few more articles like this one about some more of the Ottawa up-and-comers like Greening and Condra, for instance. - Marc

Sens in transition

Butlers late season surge was a surprise, quality icetime helped, but there is a real lack of quality forwards on the Sens roster (they have some great dmen prospects-arguably the best in the NHL).Personally Id hold off to see what they add to their forwards, you want them to add something (especially at center behind Spezza)but not so much that it bumps Butler out of the top 6. Currently Id rank the Sens forwards among the bottom 3 or 4 teams, but with the right FA addons, they could move up. A motivated Spezza and a healthy Alfredsson helps alot. - Larry
