Seadawg - re-upload the document, it no longer says that. But I explained away the NHL's re-seeding system vs. my playoff tree in the "Instructions" tab of the document. I hope that will be sufficient. You didn't think you would go eight for eight with your picks in the first round, did ya? ;)

It's very complicated to accommodate the re-seeding system. And considering that I rarely run into someone who picks all eight series correctly (thus making the entire re-seeding process in the second round completely wrong - you need to have all eight correct for the predicted Round 2 matches to be correct), I made the call to leave my tree as is - and offer you the option to manually adjust games (see "Instructions" tab).

Dobber,

Am I missing something? Your spreadsheet suggests that Philly will play Washington and that Van will play SJ assuming all 4 of those teams win. I didn't think that was possible? I thought the top ranked team played the lowest ranked team in the second round. Did the NHL change the playoff format? - SeaDawg
