Hey Angus, I can see that some names are still accurate but how about the new guys like Larsson? If you had to redo this column, what would be the new sort order? - Roger Brouard

Hey Jeff,
Great work!

I was wondering if you will be updating this list after the draft?
In the future with these lists are you able to add last years same list as an attachment? It would be neat to look back a year later to see how you had guys ranked and who graduated....

Thanks! - Joshua Smidts

Nice angus. lol.

If any of you missed it and wanted to see some more info on Stefan Elliott, I wrote an article on him a while back. It was actually back in November when no one really had him on their radar, but his current stats obviously weren't as updated. Just more HW on him if any of you didn't see it already. - Tim Lucarelli

Too bad this article didnt come out earlier. I had the choice of Blum or Smith and took Smith about 2 weeks ago. There were rumors of him being moved to Edmonton. With a trade, his ranking would move up a bit would it not? - frozenpools

Tim - I changed my list up.

Ev - Last year Subban was the picture, Carlson was the top dog. Doesn't mean much!

Honorable mentions - as I said, there could be 50 to 75 names. I am not slighting players on purpose. Welcome to suggestions and thoughts. - Jeff Angus

Thanks Angus! This is great stuff.
My free time these days doesn't allow me to follow any hockey league beyond the NHL, but I still want to have that jump in fantasy hockey leagues about knowing which names are about to surface. This is incredible value!!!

5 Stars. A+++++. And "I would definitely buy from this seller again!!!" :D - Pengwin7

"best fantasy prospect defenseman for keeper leagues is still undrafted (and no, he isn’t Swedish)" - do you mean Ryan Murphy? - Lukas Polak

Oh and I have a suggestion. Why not put a picture of Schultz up instead of Ellis? Gives the illusion that Ellis is #1. - Big Ev

Elliott and WHL record for points by D-man

Great article Angus, good work! However I'd like to correct you on one account:
he also recently set the mark as the highest scoring defenseman in WHL history with 240 points, breaking a 37 year old record.
Elliott did set the mark as the highest scoring defenseman in Saskatoon Blades history but it wasn't a record for the entire WHL. I can't find exactly who holds the record but I think it is Greg Hawgood (473 career points in WHL). Hawgood's point totals are definately out of reach for Elliott. - Carcillo
