Dukla, you are right about Okposo deserving credit. When I delved into the numbers, Okposo's numbers were underwhelming. After thinking about it now, I'd say that Okposo's contribution to Grabner's line is significant. I should have at least mentioned more than that they were just linemates. Okposo brings serious talent and effort to the line, but at the moment it's not showing up as points for Okposo. I think the points will come though.

That said, after watching a number of Islander games over the past week and a bit, Grabner deserves all the accolades he is getting. That short-handed goal against Ottawa was ridiculous - he outworked/beat four Sens and the goalie by himself. - Russ Miller

I disagree. Grabner has scored 14 in 13 because he is Grabner, not because of Okposo.

While Okposo might be a good passer, he has only assisted on 4 of Grabner's goals. Only one was the primary assisted and one of the secondary assists was on an empty netter.

The kid deserves credit. - chimp82x

I think Okposo does deserve some credit. Grabner has 14 goals in 13 games since he returned. Okposo will do the dirty work and is a decent passer. - DuklaNation
