Shattenkirk

Kevin Shattenkirk is still very early in his career, but he seems like a glaring omission.

His first year in the league (two years ago), he started the season in the AHL with 0 points in 10 games. Then he got called up to Colorado, and put up something like 16 points in his first 18 games. Then he went on an unbelievable cold streak (I remember it being 1 point in 17 games, or something very similar). After that he picked it up again, before being traded to St. Louis where he finished the season with 17 points in 26 games.

That alone should probably be enough to qualify him, but this year (his third year in the league) he had 19 points in his first 24 games, before his current streak of 2 points in 15 games. - Corstyles

Havlat needs to be added. When he's healthy he's just so inconsistent.

I also think it's time to take Kessel off the list. He has had only one four game pointless streak in the past two seasons while the rest of the time it'll just be a one or two games without scoring but preceded and followed by solid scoring stretches. - hockeymanG23

I had Enstrom in there because of his history of going on a 70-pace until January and a 30-pace after that. I removed him.
Feel free to give more suggestions - Dobber

Yeah, how is Enstrom even relevant for this list? Since he got going in 08/09, he hasn't stopped. - sentium

I am going to say that Neal is going to be on this list in a year or two. Starting to see signs of Horton type production. He will be more like the 20 on and 10 off type of guy ... just a hunch tho, maybe he proves me wrong. - AL

Me thinks the Sabres Derek Roy should/could be on the Executive? Great idea Dobber.

Austin - I'd agree with you on Wellwood, but this list should be exclusively for NHL players! Sorry, couldn't pass up a shot at Wellwood! - Russ Miller
