I like Rask too and considered trying to trade for him in my keeper league, but am hesitant since he's still behind Thomas in terms of playing time. Do you think He'll eventually surpass Thomas or do you think there is any possibility Thomas gets traded? With Thomas under contract for another 2 years after this one, Rask has limited value unless the situation changes. With limited playing time, he's not worth tying up a keeper spot. I already have Fleury, Crawford, and Bobrovsky as potential keeper goalies. - Jason

Bernier?

You make the Bernier argument Goldman and I agree with it, but couldn't you make the same argument for Cory Schneider in Vancouver? Granted Quick is not as established as Luongo but isn't the only thing holding Schneider back playing time? - DonCoburleone

Oops! I only had time and space for three. Gustavsson could be considered the fourth and Jon Bernier could be considered a fifth buy-low candidate. Bernier is similar to Rask in that their value simply relies on the playing time of the starter. But how confident are you that Jon Quick's second half will be as strong as his first half? A few more games for Bernier could set him on a path for big-time success in the second half. - Justin Goldman

"Before I dive into what I believe are five quality buy-low bargains" I only see three goalies listed here? - Mike
