I had him pegged for the Devils' D long before you wrote about him. I thought Taormina was a Cory Murphy in the waiting. Taormina may have injuries because of his smaller size but he is much better defensively than Murphy ever was. Unfortunely, it looks like Eckford has lost his chance.
