@Karbinkopy Urbom had a great showing at camp and he's another guy I wrote about. With a better shot, he has more offensive upside than Eckford. - Ryan Van Horne

Stone, that's an excellent idea and I'll do that next time I do a recap. It won't be for a while though -- probably end of season -- as I'm going to wait for some time to elapse.

For now though, you can click on my name at bottom of page (Van Horne) for an archive of my previous columns. - Ryan Van Horne

Love these recaps -- I wonder if it'd be a lot of work to link the previous articles into the names of the players. I'd love to be able to quickly click back on the old articles. Just a suggestion (if it's not crazy difficult) for the next installment. Keep 'em coming! - STONE.

Eckford

You aren't the only one that whiffed on Eckford. I had him pegged for the Devils' D long before you wrote about him. I thought Taormina was a Cory Murphy in the waiting. Taormina may have injuries because of his smaller size but he is much better defensively than Murphy ever was. Unfortunely, it looks like Eckford has lost his chance. In my opinion, the next Devils' D prospect to make the jump will be Urbom. - Karbinkopy
