This trade has taken away the only right handed shot and replaced him with a right handed shot. The two lefties (Bouwmeester and Giordano) shouldn't see much of a change in icetime, at least off the start anyway. If someone loses time, I'd expect it to be Bouwmeester, as Giordano's looked like much more of a natural fit on the PP than Bouwmeester has. It seems like he'll be the beneficiary of additional PP time considering he's 4th right now in PPTOI among Carolina D, so I assume he'll get some of the 3+ minutes per game Babchuk was on the Carolina Powerplay.
