Philly fans cheered Gagne because when he was healthy, he was a dangerous scorer, 41 and 47 goal seasons are not common in the NHL. Sure he's been injured a lot in his career, but he endeared himself to the Flyer faithful. You are right, he is barely a top 6 player, but he can score, so if he manages to find some chemistry with a set up man, look out, he'll top 30 goals.
