Great piece, Brent. Well written.

I've gotta say I'm excited to see Bogo get healthy and back on track. I know he has the skills. - BGJ

This is great stuff - where else do you get insight into how the coach will affect the development of a young player. I am amazed there are not more comments in response to this article!

The thing I find strange about Atlanta's approach to Bogo's development is that he excelled the first year (or showed much promise) and then they went out and got D-men with more experience who stepped in and slowed his development. Last year they bring in Enstrom and Kubina. This year they bring in Byfuglien. How is the kid supposed to get better playing behind so many others on the PP? Either leave him in junior to develop, or give him the TOI and importantly the PP time he needs in the big show to get better. I don't get it. - back check
