Simmonds

Everyone needs to keep an eye on Simmonds PP TOI. He only got 12 minutes total last year. I heard Steen had 14 minutes the other night. So far Simmonds has only 43 seconds in four games this year. I'm puzzled by the Kings. I've watched fancy passers go round-and-round at times while never taking the puck to the net. Five guys on the outside. When you put a dirty hound like Simmonds in front of the net, he draws a D-man. Success going to the net is then improved and you've got a guy to poke in a rebound in place. The Kings don't seem to have any extra top 6 forwards. This kid has earned his chance, from what I've picked up on, but it doesn't seem to be coming. As long as he only plays 5-on-5, he'll be hard pressed to get much more than last years 40 points. The minute they start giving him PP time, he'll jump to 60 points. Keep checking this kids PP TOI. Should you ever notice a shift in the TOI, grab him quick. - Jocular Hockey Manager

Players that can put up more than 30pts and are not A) Injured, or B) Playing in the NHL.

I current reserve roster reads something between a WWI triage unit and the top line from the Kentville, N.S. Bantam "B" Braves...

I am in a deep league. Pickings are slim to none, particularly on defense and goal. - Ryan Lenethen
