This is Landeskog's 2nd season in the OHL, so that hat trick did not come in his first career OHL game.

Still a great player though. - Tony

I went to a game between Montreal and St-John two weeks ago, and all I can say is that Xavier Ouellet had an amazing game with 3 assists. But he was so good getting the puck out of his zone, his outlet passes were perfect! Only bump on him is his size.

About Huberdeau, you are right on point. He has great skills, soft hands , a quick release but he lacks that little jump on his skates to make him elite.

Jurco was floating all game. He would wait for the play to develop and when he had a chance to get the puck , he'd do 2-3 stride and try to get the puck with his nifty hands. If it didn't work he would go back slowly to his bench. I wasn't impress by his game

And finally, Nathan Beaulieu... He had an horrible game until the Junior got the lead. It was 4-1 Montreal I believe and that's when Beaulieu started playing. He was joining the rush, and was the first back on defense. He has a killer release on his wrist shot. His skating ability is unbelievable. He can make the whole ice in 3-4 stride. If he can get that competetive spirit , he can be a major player when he'll graduate in the pros. - Hugo Twigg

Looks like Strome is this yr's Johansen? I wonder how high Filippi is going to go considering he wasnt drafted last June. 10 goals in 8 games? Scouts were asleep on that one. - DuklaNation
