KHL or retire works.

The odds of that happening (a player signing and being traded) is about 0.00001, but in case it does happen, I'll say the team they originally sign with.

My Toskala post was tongue-in-cheek - just pick a team even if you think they may not sign. - angus

Does predicting that players are not signed by August 1st also count as a correct prediction (you have Toskala in your example with no team, does that count toward your total if he is not signed).

also while highly unlikely, with if that player is traded after being signed, but still before the August 1st deadline? which team is counted? - lokguin

The contract term will only count as a tiebreaker, so don't worry about putting a ton of time into your decision.

The contest will run until August 1st. I'll add that in now. Thanks for clarifying, yadba. - angus

"signing with on or after July 1st"

so this contest will run until everyone is signed or the start of the season? (we might be waiting a while on a couple of players) - Yadba

uhmm thx for doing this angus. just thinking it would be more simple if we just named the contract length for like 3 players say...

KOvalchuk nabakov and gonchar for example less complicated than naming contract lengths for all players. - RNS
