If a player plays 95% of the time at one position, it's pretty easy to say that he plays that particular position. That's the case for the vast majority of NHLers. They have clear roles, but they are obviously also capable of filling some other roles if the team needs it. What is the best draft order. I have always followed goalie, left wing, defense, right wing and then center as an order. Your point about good right winds getting scarce may require a change here; especially with all the D talent coming into the league. Once I have the top spots filled; I can look at who is available. But this list is a good start.
