If, a big if, Sharks win the cup, they will keep them all...so they can do it again next year...Don't win the cup...Marleau is gone..Thornton has stepped up in the finals at Detroit, FINALLY and showed he can close the big game too. Pavelski has been brought along by the Sharks he will sign a multi-year deal that allows them to keep Marleu if they win the cup. Look what Clowe did last year..a little sacrifice to make the team work....

Plekanec is gone, but AK is staying...he was having a great year until injured and he has come back well..

AK has played on the 4th line recently and Moen has taken his place on the top line for many shifts (not all).

I would bet that AK days are counted in Montreal unless he pulls a very solid effort or something like another 4 point game tomorrow.

Thing is the Habs don't have anyone who can really take his place right now, so they are rubbing the lamp and hoping for the best.

I would put my money on a big trade not happening, since big trades hardly ever happen. So Thornton stays - Dobber

is marleau really gone from the sharks? i think pavelski's play has removed any doubt he'll be leaving, the sharks will definitely want to lock him up. which means either thornton or marleau will likely have to leave. since thornton is signed one more year, you think it's going to be marleau? wouldn't it be smarter to trade thornton for cheaper assets, and use the available money to resign marleau? or does pavelski's contract take up that cap space? - praba
