Actually to be honest I was quite adamant that the Devils were going to fall to the Flyers in the first round because of Brodeur I was just surprised none of my fellow &quot;experts&quot; thought so either. Now that he series is over I guess I'll reveal my secrets...

Before making my picks I did some quick research.

1) Brodeur was 1-4-1 against the Flyers this season with a 3.34 GAA and a .878 sv%, which was a big &quot;uh-oh&quot; factor for me.

2) Brodeur's career numbers vs the Flyers, 2.51 GAA and .904 sv%. It's the .904 that was scaring me. It's the second worst against any team in the league (with over 20 games played). Worst Pittsburgh (.897). 

3) Brodeur's career numbers at the Wachovia Center: 2.73 GAA and .902 sv%.

Now I just need the Caps to win tomorrow night to make it 8-0!!!   - Ryan Ma</description>
