An interesting discussion of this article is on the Prospects Board at Hockey's Future.

Once again, some posters there indicate their reading comprehension skills are well below average. - Ryan Van Horne

Ryan, I always enjoy reading your stuff, but this was a special read. Keep up the great work, and making us all think, as opposed to go with the popular opinion on these prospects. Nicely done!

Awesome article. Right or wrong, this definitely brings up some question marks I've had about Kadri's game. I mean he still can't shoot a one-timer, obviously that can be corrected but he clearly still has a long way to go.

And personally I've always questioned the Leafs selection of him. I mean did they even do their homework or did they simply draft him to spite Ottawa? Based on Burke and Murray's exchange, I got the vibe that it was pure spite for god knows what reason. And I wouldn't put it past Burke to have done just that. - metaldude26

Very fair assessment. You may be right but for reasons not mentioned in the article. The Leafs will need to put Kadri in a top role. He's their best prospect not currently on the team and without the additional 1st rounders there's even more pressure on this kid. I fear the Leafs will try to use him beyond his capabilities and there could be some adverse effects.

In Holland's case, his future is the 2nd centerman spot behind Getzlaf. I like the presence of established players and he should blend in nicely on this team once he makes it. At this point I consider Holland the more safe prospect and Kadri more of a risk/reward player with a high ceiling should he create some magic with Kessel. - Eric Daoust

Not sure that Kadri doesnt have the speed or quickness. He looks fast to me. #1 weakness is overhandling the puck in ALL zones. #2 weakness is lack of strength for his style.

I agree about Holland's future, has the natural tools to excel in the NHL, actually feel Anaheim is a good spot for him as there will be no pressure to produce with the big 3 there now (which should compensate for potential effort issues).
