My guess - $2.85 million per

I don't think you'll get the right value for Jokinen. Can't hurt to see, but I think Jussi will flirt with 70 next year. - Dobber

I picked up Jussi this past off season for a cheap pick. Best move I made. I am perfectly content with keeping him on my team for next year but kinda worried his value could take a hit if he starts slow. Most owners don't believe in him because he's breaking out this year so they don't want to trade for him.

Dobber, is this off season the time to package him for a better consistent player or can I hold onto him and look for 65-70 next season? - Renegade

Don't forget Steen's broken wrist

Alex Steen had one point in his first five games then broke his wrist and missed a little more than a month (14 games). After one point in his first six games back, his season has been very productive. Take away the two points in his first 11 games and you're looking at 38 points in 46 games. His production took off when Murray put him on the point on the power play.

I'm pleased with Steen's season. He's not a core guy, but he's the kind of guy that helps you win pools. Picking guys up that nobody wants -- or that are very cheap -- and then pay dividends are the difference makers. Steen and Steve Downie are two guys doing that for me this year.

Last summer, Steen was thrown back in my league and I nabbed him in the sixth round. Well worth the gamble. - Scribe

With Steen being an RFA next season, what do you guesstimate his salary to be? - Gates

The owner in my league who had held on to Steen for three years finally soured on him and I picked him up immediately after just before Davis Payne took over and I've been reaping the rewards ever since. That's just payback for me trading away Burrows to that owner for Carle just before Burrows broke out :) - sentium
